Littlehampton Tennis Club has teams playing in the orange and green ball competitions. Each year before summer, on the coach's advice, the club likes to invite Hot Shots coaching players who are ready for match play to join a team for the season. Fill-ins are occasionally needed throughout the season and the club likes to, on the coach's advice, ask Hot Shots coaching players who are ready for match play if they are interested in filling-in because it is a good opportunity to try matches before joining a team permanently.
