Littlehampton Tennis Club has teams playing in the Junior competitions. Each year before summer, on the coach's advice, the club likes to invite coaching players who are ready for match play to join a team for the season. Fill-ins are occasionally needed throughout the season and the club likes to, on the coach's advice, ask coaching players who are ready for match play if they are interested in filling-in, as it provides a good opportunity to try matches before joining a team permanently.
